Dec. 1, 5pm: Demonstrate against war in Afghanistan/Pakistan: Green & Wright, UofI campus

Pres. Obama announces on Tuesday 12/1 his plans for Afghanistan: tens of thousands of additional troops.

These should not be our plans. Our occupation of Afghanistan should not be increased, but must end. The US and NATO should have no inflammatory military presence in Afghanistan nor Pakistan!

A majority of the American people oppose this wasteful, destructive, immoral war. Let's hold a demonstration to help demonstrate that, on the day of the announcement. Many other groups across the US will be doing likewise.

Where: Alma Mater, Green and Wright Streets, on UofI campus
When: from 5:00pm until 6:00pm, Tuesday, Dec. 1st
